Jane is the CEO and President of Jane Doe Investigations. JDI started in 2014 and currently has grown to over 20 employees. JDI has worked over 540 cases in our first year alone. Her team specializes in investigations in the Insurance Fraud and Workman's Compensation Industry.
She has over 28-years in Law Enforcement and has enjoyed productive and proactive careers in the Pontiac Police Department and Oakland County Sheriff's Office where she served as Deputy Sheriff, Deputy Supervisor, Substation Commander, Corrections Sergeant, Satellite Services Sergeant (in charge of the Circuit Court Division) and training Sergeant. She is a graduate of the Oakland Police Academy, She has attended Oakland Community College as well as Rochester College studying Business Administration and Criminal Justice. She also attended REID, Interview and Interrogation Basic and Advanced, FBI Violent Crimes Apprehension Program, and has worked as in investigator handling sex offender crimes as well as crimes against children.
During her career as a Police Officer, she dedicated her adult life to the protection of the citizens and businesses of the Cities and County she served. In addition to police work, she has been involved with many Police Associations in Michigan as well as across the country.
Since her retirement from Law Enforcement, she has worked many private investigations as well as a Lead Security Officer for the DMC.
She was a successful candidate as the democratic nominee in 2008 & 2012 for Oakland County Sheriff.
Working as a specialist at Apple has allowed her to expand her knowledge in technology. As a sibling of a 60 year old family business, she has extensive knowledge in running a business.
Director of Operations
As the Director of Operations, Ray is responsible for managing and supervising the daily surveillance details and special investigations and investigator training.
He has over 25 years of experience conducting such investigations in the law enforcement. He is retired as a Sergeant from a Sheriff’s Office where he worked in both the corrections and road patrol sections as a shift supervisor and command sergeant.
In addition to civil and criminal investigations he also conducts fraud investigations, property crimes, physical assaults, and death investigations.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social and Criminal Justice, is a graduate of Oakland Police Academy, Michigan Department of Corrections Academy. He is a former Police and Correctional Academy instructor, Shift and Command Sergeant, Supervisor of the Corrections Investigative Unit and a Substation Patrol Investigator.
As a former Union Vice President he has experience in disability and workers compensation claims including training in multiple types of interview and interrogation including Scientific Content Analysis, alcohol and traffic investigations and background investigations.
Aaron has been with Jane Doe Investigations since its inception in 2014. Through his hard work, natural instinctive talent, commitment to excellence and innovative surveillance ideas, Aaron has helped Jane Doe Investigations grow as a company. As a Field Investigator, his experience and leadership skills were key in his promotion to Operations Manager in 2016.
During Aaron’s 20 years in the industry, he has held multiple management and operations positions, obtaining multiple investigator licenses outside the State of Michigan. As an Investigator, Aaron’s experience in mobile, covert and stationary camera surveillance investigations led to successful results in reducing or eliminating fraudulent claims for numerous insurance companies and businesses and led to service requests in numerous states outside of Michigan including North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Alaska, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Arizona and Iowa.

Keith has been working for Jane Doe Investigations on our SIU Team and as a Field Investigator. He now manages the Special Investigations Unit.
After graduation from High School, Keith enlisted into the U.S. Army where he served three years in the Military Police (1975-1978) and was Honorably discharged. Keith was hired by the Roseville Police Department in August 1979 and served the Roseville community for thirty-three years.
Keith was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was given the responsibility of supervising the evidence technicians, defensive tactics training, firearms training, the Honor Guard unit, and completed his career as the Sergeant in charge of the Detective Bureau.
Keith has been very active in the community, volunteering his time to coach children in many different school sports for over twenty years. Keith and his wife have been leading mission trips to Haiti for several years now and have created a 501(c)(3) Foundation for “Hope for Haiti” to fund their continued work in Haiti. Keith’s educational background include a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and is a 1975 graduate of the Military Police Academy and a 1979 graduate of the Macomb County Police Academy.

Andy, Jay and Mike are the video technicians (aka video dudes). They have worked on various video projects spanning from feature films, music videos, commercials and shorts over the past fifteen years. They constantly work at finding ways of improving the product in order to make your videos reach you quickly and in a well produced fashion.
Mark has served over 25 years with the Dearborn Police Department. His experience includes surveillance operations and Field Training Officer. He was trained in Washington DC in contemporary concepts. He also has been trained in background investigations, K-9 handling, SWAT (certified sniper) and is a Certified Police and Defensive Driving Instructor.
He is a Master Trainer with the National Association Professional Canine Handlers(NAPCH) and is still an active trainer for K-9’s around the world.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Detroit, and a bachelor’s degree in Preparation Courses.
Samson is a certified narcotics odor recognition canine. He is 6 years old, but has been in training since he was 4 months old. Not all German Shepard’s are born in Germany but he was born near Berlin, Germany. He even has his own passport!
Nothing makes Samson happier than when he works with his partner Mark. He works for praise (and treats too) especially when he locates narcotics. He also is trained in obedience, handler protection and aggression.
