Jane founded Jane Doe Investigations® in 2014 with 6 employees and has grown JDI to a current staff of over 20. Successfully working over 540 cases in their first year alone and more that 12,000 cases since inception her team specializes in investigations in the Insurance Fraud and Worker’s Compensation Industry, but is adept in all areas of private investigation.
Jane has over 28-years of experience in Law Enforcement and private investigations, and has enjoyed productive and proactive careers in the Pontiac Police Department and Oakland County Sheriff’s Office serving as Deputy Sheriff, Deputy Supervisor, Substation Commander, Corrections Sergeant, Satellite Services Sergeant and training Sergeant. She is a graduate of the Oakland Police Academy, and studied Business Administration and Criminal Justice at Oakland Community College as well as Rochester College. Jane is a graduate of the basic and advanced REID Interview and Interrogation courses and the FBI Violent Crimes Apprehension Program and has extensive experience in the investigation of sex crimes as well as crimes against children.
During her law enforcement career, Jane has been dedicated to the protection of the citizens and businesses within the jurisdictions she served and now, with JDI, she continues to serve as protector through her work in private investigations. Jane remains active in several state and federal Police associations, was a board member of the Michigan Council of Professional Investigator and, in 2017, credentialed Jane Doe Investigations® as a certified Woman Owned Business.
